What Can ReKisstory do?
ReKisstory is not just made for fun and hobbies. Let's get down to business. What serious things can we do with it?

Showcase
If you wonder, why don't you look at a brand-new Showroom section of ReKisstory? Here we collected some use cases with real data. One of the strengths of ReKisstory is the ability to integrate the search results with external data. Our data source, Wikidata, holds generic encyclopedic data. It is good in its own right, but it is more powerful if we can combine it with other more specialized data, isn't it? In other words, you can merge your data with ReKisstory. So, we focus on the Data Mix functionality to showcase how interesting data fusion is possible. You may be surprised to see interdisciplinary and intersectional data that nobody has seen before.
Data Mix Use Cases
Here are our example views of Data Mix:
- Who is the best Real Madrid football coach?
- Housing Crisis in the Netherlands
- Tsunami and Earthquake
- Our Bike Tour
- Lebanon Explosion in 2020
Your data is never perfect. One data contains results of football games, but the other data contains the data about coaches. If you combine the two, you get a new insight into sports
Are the house-rent prices in Amsterdam related to the location of hotels? You can explore the geographical relationships between houses and hotels
How these two natural disaster are related each other? We plotted the locations of disasters together across the world
ReKisstory is not just a serious business. You can use it for your recreational purposes, using a smartphone app with GPS
ReKisstory provides a nice solution for your work for humanitarian aids and/or media publication
Your Idea and Serendipity
These use cases are just quick-and-dirty examples. But, it is up to you to find your own Data Mix stories. If you have a good idea about mixing (different types of) data, please contact us and we can share it with the public. In any case, you must try, experiment, and make mistakes with data, until you find something unique.
"We are Showroom Dummies" comes from a song by great Kraftwerk (1977). A gig for "3D" tour in Vienna open air was stunning. Tell us your favorite song from them!

It is true that my discovery of LSD was a chance discovery, but it was the outcome of planned experiments and these experiments took place in the framework of systematic pharmaceutical, chemical research. It could better be described as serendipity.
